The Great CTI/Avaya Bowling Challenge 2005

On a beautiful evening in November, members of the CTI Sales Staff invited some Avaya Customer Executives and members of Avaya Financial Services to a bowling challenge in New York City. The group journeyed downtown to the famous Bowlmor Lanes in the East Village to participate in the very first CTI/Avaya Bowling Challenge. Though there were many serious bowlers among the participants, most people were there to socialize and have a good time. Pizza, Hamburgers, Beer and Wine were all on hand to keep the bowlers happy as they all tried to keep from throwing the always-embarrassing gutterball.

    

        

At the end of the evening, small trophies were given out to three lucky people who had demonstrated exceptional bowling skills throughout the evening. The "Highest Score" trophy went to Gary Levy, an Avaya Customer Executive. The trophy for "Most Interesting Style" went to John Hudson of Avaya Financial. And the coveted "Gutterball Guru" trophy went to lucky Alyse Brady of CTI. (But to be fair to Alyse, she did not have the lowest score of the evening...she just happened to be the person with the lowest score when the awards were handed out.) Larry Autorino of CTI also turned in an impressive score in the first game of the evening. Along with the trophies, each "winner" also received a gift certificate to Best Buy, which they no doubt used to buy the latest DVD on "Bowling Tips" in preparation for next year's inevitable rematch.
