Technical Services Engineer (for customer installations)
The Technical Services Engineer reports to the Director of Technical Services. This is a technical field service position.
The responsibilities include: |
- Install Windows-based computer systems, servers, Cisco, Sonicwall and AdTran data networking equipment, Wireless infrastructure and IP Telephony applications.
- Implement and support Cisco and Adtran based WAN applications.
- Assist Project Managers in multi-location IP Voice and Data solutions
- Facilitate technical problem resolution at all levels.
- Troubleshoot existing hardware and software remotely or at customer sites.
- Close out service tickets and report to Operations Department upon completion of a task at the customer site.

| Requirements: |
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years applied experience with specific expertise in Microsoft software and/or Cisco switches and routers and IP Telephony, Wireless LAN/WAN equipment
- MCP / MCSE or CCNA/CCNP.
- Candidate must possess effective written and verbal skills and the ability to implement sound customer service techniques.
- Candidate must have the ability to handle problem resolution of Windows servers, desktop systems, data networking equipment and IP Telephony.
- Candidate must be proactive and maintain a high level of focus on response time, solutions and customer satisfaction
