Technical Services Engineer
(for customer installations)

The Technical Services Engineer reports to the Director of Technical Services.
This is a technical field service position.

The responsibilities include:

• Install Windows-based computer systems, servers, Cisco, Sonicwall and AdTran data networking equipment, Wireless infrastructure and IP Telephony applications.
• Implement and support Cisco and Adtran based WAN applications.  
• Assist Project Managers in multi-location IP Voice and Data solutions
• Facilitate technical problem resolution at all levels.
• Troubleshoot existing hardware and software remotely or at customer sites.
• Close out service tickets and report to Operations Department upon completion of a task at the customer site.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years applied experience with specific expertise in Microsoft software and/or Cisco switches and routers and IP Telephony, Wireless LAN/WAN equipment
• MCP / MCSE or CCNA/CCNP.
• Candidate must possess effective written and verbal skills and the ability to implement sound customer service techniques.
• Candidate must have the ability to handle problem resolution of Windows servers, desktop systems, data networking equipment and IP Telephony.
• Candidate must be proactive and maintain a high level of focus on response time, solutions and customer satisfaction
