Project Manager

Job Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing other project managers and hardware (Definity, IP Office and data infrastructure) and professional services projects on an as needed basis from assignment of order to completion of project.
Responsibilities:

- Manage installation of PBX’s, voice mail, video and related systems through project management team.
- Manage installation of data infrastructures through project management team and NOC personnel.
- Ensure that all resources necessary for successful installations are coordinated and in place including but not limited to:
* Technicians, vendors (cabling, carrier services, building management, etc) * Serve as liaison between customer contact and outside resources
- Work with sales to ensure that a detailed Scope of Work based on Sales Scope of Work is completed by the project manager assigned to include:
* Assist other PMs in the development and production of detail project plans, timelines and charts for projects. * Ensure that project timelines are modified, SOW are updated, and progress of projects are tracked.
- Interface with Logistics manager to assure timely arrival of correct products for cutovers.
- Maintain adequate resource list for system and end user training.
* Ensure through PMs that customers are trained following installations or aid in coordination with outsource provider if in-house trainer not available.
- Provide timely communications to Director of Operations regarding customer problems or installation problems, which impact installation dates.
* Issues related to vendors, logistics or customer changes.
- Participate and/or conduct weekly Project Manager meetings.
- Help to develop and maintain SOPs with regards to project management and installation practices.
- Ensure through job cost analysis that projects are installed meeting company profit objectives on an as sold basis.
- Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by Director of Operations.

| Requirements |
- Must be able to interact successfully with a wide variety of personalities.
- Must be familiar with Visio, MS Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
- Must be well organized, detailed oriented and understand time management.
- Must have excellent listening and written and verbal communications skills.
- Must have three to five years of project management experience.
