Behind-the-Scenes at CTI
CTI Launches New Video: "Who is Consolidated Technologies?"
In the Fall of 2008, CTI had a company-wide "Town Hall" meeting in which several internally-produced videos were shown. CTI President Kenneth Heitner wanted the meeting to highlight all the various members of the company, as well as address certain topical issues, such as the economy, what employees liked about their job, etc. To help create the videos, Heitner turned to CTI Marketing Manager Michael Latshaw for help.
Latshaw spent the next month traveling around the tri-state area, so he could catch every CTI employee in their particular place of work. For some, this meant filming them at one of the CTI office locations. For others, it meant Latshaw traveled to a customer site to film the Project Managers and Engineers on location. The resulting four films were a big hit at the Town Hall meeting, and paved the way for a new way to communicate with our customers.
The first CTI video produced specifically for our customers is now available on site. It is called "Who is Consolidated Technologies?" and features members of CTI's Executive Team talking about the company, its successes, and why CTI is a proven leader in the field of converged technologies.

Avaya News
Avaya Unified Communications and Contact Center Solutions "Certified Green" by Independent Test Labs
Avaya solutions for mid-sized, campus and large distributed networks are "earth-friendly designs that can save money and boost efficiency" according to Miercom report
January, 2009 – Avaya, a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services, announced that its Unified Communications and Contact Center solutions have been "Certified Green" by Miercom, an independent testing organization. The designation verifies that Avaya Communication Manager-based networks are environmentally-friendly designs that can save companies money and boost efficiency.
The Miercom certifications come following intensive, hands-on testing in a lab environment of three model Avaya Communication Manager 5.1 networks under various loads and conditions. The tests included unified communications systems that would be typical in mid-sized businesses, campus environments and large distributed offices with contact centers. The reports cover how Avaya products and technologies enable enterprises to reduce power consumption, enable environmentally efficient work models, as well as Avaya's policies and processes for ongoing improvement in product design, manufacturing and business operations.
